Cache Path
Have you ever wanted to draw a line connecting your caches in the order you found them? Well using Cache Path that’s now possible!
Cache Path creates a Google Earth kml file that displays each cache you’ve found and then connects a line between them. Cache Path also takes advantage of the Google Earth time line feature that allows your cache path to be drawn in day by day. Once you load your kml file into Google Earth click on the play button near the time line in the upper right of the screen and watch your caching history unfold. After watching your history you’re able to pause the time line view and display your entire history by pulling the time line bar to the far right, using this same idea you can narrow in on a specific day and see your trail.
Download
Latest version: Cache Path (1.0)
Usage
Place the downloaded jar file into the same directory as your “My Finds” pocket query zip file and then double click it. After a
second or two a “trail.kml” file will appear. Double click on that to load it into Google Earth and you’re all set.
Alternatively you can run it by executing this command on the command line:
java -jar CachePath.jar path/to/your/myfinds.zip
